Invoices in. Vendors paid.
OpenMerchant reads the invoices in your Gmail and pays vendors by ACH when two independent checks agree. Anything new or over your limits waits for you.
No retyping. No chasing vendors.

Read from your inbox
Read-only Gmail access. The vendor, amount, due date, and bank details are taken from each invoice and checked against it.

Vendors add their own details
When a new vendor’s bank details are missing, they get a secure link to add them.

Never paid twice
Resent invoices are caught before they become new bills. Reminders and statements link to the invoice they’re about.
Paid on your rules. Everything else waits for you.

Pays on its own
- A vendor you’ve paid before
- Bank details you’ve verified
- Within your limits
- Both independent checks agree

Waits for you
- A new vendor
- New or changed bank details
- Over your limits, or unusual
- A check flags it
Questions finance teams ask.
Can OpenMerchant send or delete my email?
No. Gmail access is read-only: we read the invoices that arrive and never send, change, or delete mail. You can disconnect at any time. Privacy policy.
What are the two checks?
The first proposes a payment. The second, from a different AI provider, reviews the original invoice without seeing the first one’s reasoning. A payment goes out on its own only when both agree.
Where is the money paid from?
Your Mercury account, or a financial account provided through Stripe for eligible businesses. OpenMerchant is a technology company, not a bank.
How do vendors get paid?
By ACH to US bank accounts, in US dollars. You approve a vendor’s bank details before their first payment.
What happens when an invoice waits for me?
We email you the reason it’s waiting, and you approve or decline it in your dashboard. You can also switch automatic payments off at any time.
Which invoices does it read?
Invoices that arrive after you connect, as a PDF, an image, or in the email itself. Other mail is ignored.
Hand off your next invoice.
Connect Gmail, set your limits, and review only what needs you.
Eligible businesses can use a financial account provided through Stripe to fund supported vendor payments. Availability and account approval are subject to program requirements. Review applicable terms, fees and disclosures before use.
